Boredroom is a product of Khronocorp Enterprises. Welcome to Boredroom. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Khronocorp Enterprises, the company behind Boredroom.

Early Access Period

This section applies during the Early Access phase only and will be removed upon full public launch.

1. Early Access Terms

Boredroom is currently in an Early Access phase lasting seven (7) days from the date of this publication. During this period:

  • Early Access users receive full access to all Boredroom Black (Pro) features at no charge for the duration of the Early Access period.
  • The Platform is provided in its current state. Features, workflows, and interfaces may change before full public launch.
  • By participating in Early Access, you acknowledge that the Platform may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features. We appreciate your patience and your honest feedback.
  • Early Access does not guarantee continued free access beyond the seven (7) day window. After Early Access ends, standard subscription pricing applies.
  • We may collect feedback, usage data, and reviews during Early Access to improve the Platform. Your participation is a genuine contribution to what Boredroom becomes.

We built this for you. Early Access is our way of saying: come in, use everything, and help us build the next version.

2. Who We Are

Boredroom is a product developed and operated by Khronocorp Enterprises, a registered business. References to "Boredroom", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to Khronocorp Enterprises operating the Boredroom platform at boredroom.online.

To use Boredroom, you must:

4. Use of the Platform

Boredroom provides project management, client collaboration, file storage, invoicing, a store-front, job listings, and communication tools for creative professionals and agencies. You may use the Platform for lawful purposes only.

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Boredroom. Your projects, files, designs, briefs, and creative work are yours.

By uploading content to the Platform, you grant Khronocorp Enterprises a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Platform. We will never sell, monetise, or use your creative work for any purpose beyond operating the service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you upload does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

Boredroom offers a Free tier and a paid Boredroom Black (Pro) tier. Features available on each tier are outlined on the Platform and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

6.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe (for international users) and Paystack (for African users). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis. All payments are processed in the currency displayed at checkout.

Receipts and payment records will reflect Boredroom/Khronocorp Enterprises as the merchant of record.

6.3 Refund Policy

We want you to love Boredroom. If you are not satisfied, here is how refunds work:

6.4 Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your Boredroom Black subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so before the next billing date.

If you cancel, your account reverts to the Free tier. Your data remains intact and accessible.

6.5 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may toggle auto-renewal on or off from your account settings at any time. If auto-renewal is disabled, your subscription will expire at the end of the current billing period and your account will revert to the Free tier.

6.6 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you immediately via email and attempt to process the payment again within 3 business days. If the payment continues to fail after two (2) retry attempts, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier until payment is successfully processed. We will not delete your data during this period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Boredroom Platform, including its design, codebase, brand assets, and content created by us is the property of Khronocorp Enterprises and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

The BOREDROOM. name, wordmark, orange dot, and associated brand assets are trademarks of Khronocorp Enterprises.

8. Third-Party Integrations

Boredroom integrates with third-party services including Stripe, Paystack, and Supabase. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise harm the Platform or its users. We will provide notice where reasonably possible before taking such action.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@boredroom.online. Upon deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.1 Inactive Account Policy

To maintain platform quality and manage resources responsibly, accounts that have been inactive (no login activity) for thirty (30) consecutive days may be subject to the following process:

Logging into your account at any point during this process resets the inactivity timer. Active Boredroom Black subscribers are exempt from this policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep things running smoothly, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Khronocorp Enterprises shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws.

We would rather resolve any dispute directly and fairly. If you have a concern, please contact us at hello@boredroom.online before pursuing formal action. We will respond within 5 business days.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or a prominent in-platform notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
